Our wedding day June 29th

We wish to announce the marriage of Vivienne Faehse to Stephen Barnett at 11:00am June 29th at Great Bay, Bruny Island, Tasmania. Our celebrant was Veronica McAfee and we were with our friends Jessie Mahjouri , Rod Gobbey, Karen and John Donkin and Philip Keane. For those who were not with us, we will look forward to a celebratory open house at a date to be determined, with you all.

Resting in South Hobart

Had an interesting  morning, a walk to the State Library of Tasmania and then just around the corner for a lovely lunch. This cottage of Rod and Jessie's is a lovely colonial home , nicely extended.

Touring around the Tamar...

Took a nice day trip down to George Town, the across to Beaconsfield for lunch then to Beauty Point, then stopped off to Bradys Lookout.

A visit to Sheffield.. The mural town

I had previously visited Sheffield, a lovely old town that features large mural on its buildings.

On our way to get married!

Having been invited to stay with Rod and Jessie in Hobart, Vivienne said why not get married whilst we  are down there! We checked with Rod and Jessie who said they were thrilled.

I researched celebrants and chose Veronica McAfee . We are to marry on Sunday morning June 29th at Great Bay, on Bruny Island. We invited Karen and John Donkin and Philip Keane to be part of our wedding day.

We spent the weekend in Melbourne . Vivienne was able to catch up with old school friend Nyorie.

We then went to see The King and I at the Princess Theatre.

We then flew down to Devonport. 

Next morning we had a ratter rude early morning awakening when the fire alarm was tripped at about 5:30am and we had to evacuate!!
